Biographie

La musique est universelle, il n’y a rien ni personne qui peut vous empêcher de la vivre !

Depuis de nombreuses années, Mihoko Mori accueille et forme des élèves de tous horizons, tous niveaux et tous âges. Les désirs et les objectifs de chacun sont uniques, elle propose donc une pédagogie individualisée afin d’offrir à toutes et à tous l’opportunité de s’épanouir tant musicalement que personnellement.

Pianiste d’origine japonaise, Mihoko Mori fait ses études de piano au Tokyo College of Music (Bachelor of Music en 1996) puis au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (Master of Music avec distinction en 2001). Ensuite elle reçoit la bourse d’excellence de la Confédération Suisse pour se perfectionner à la HEM de Genève (Diplôme d’accompagnement avec mention très bien en 2004).

Chambriste et accompagnatrice reconnue, Mihoko Mori participe à de nombreux projets musicaux. Elle est entre autres invitée comme accompagnatrice officielle au Concours international de Genève et dans divers festivals internationaux.

Parallèlement à ses activités de pianiste et d’accompagnatrice, Mihoko Mori dédie une grande partie de son temps et de son énergie à l’enseignement. Elle créé et organise des stages musicaux tels que « MusiAtelier » et « Weekend Musical ».

Depuis 2010, Mihoko Mori est professeur de piano au Learning Classical Music Club au CERN. Elle y occupe actuellement le rôle de responsable pédagogique avec Juliette Roumailhac.

Biography

Music is universal, there is nothing and no one who can prevent you from living it !

For many years, Mihoko Mori has welcomed and trained students from all backgrounds, all levels and all ages. Everyone’s desires and goals are unique, so she offers an individualized pedagogy in order to give everyone the opportunity to flourish both musically and personally.

Japanese pianist, Mihoko Mori studied piano at the Tokyo College of Music (Bachelor of Music in 1996) and then at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master of Music with distinction in 2001). Then she received the excellence grant from the Swiss Confederation to improve her skills at the HEM of Geneva (diploma of accompaniment with high honours in 2004).

Renowned chamber musician and accompanist, Mihoko Mori participates to many musical projects. Among other things, she has been invited as an official accompanist at the Geneva International Competition and at various international festivals.

In addition to her pianist and accompanist activities, Mihoko Mori dedicates a large part of her time and energy to teaching. She creates and organizes musical courses such as « MusiAtelier » and « Weekend Musical ».

Since 2010, Mihoko Mori has been a piano teacher at the Learning Classical Music Club at CERN. Currently she is LCMC pedagogical manager in collaboration with Juliette Roumailhac.
